Pianist and veteran Edinburgh Fringe performer Mike Hatchard is cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats – with a piano!

Not a real piano (obviously) but nevertheless a fairly hefty electric piano on a purpose built trailer, quite an undertaking; and performing concerts along the way in every kind of venue ranging from village halls to theatres, raising money for BBC Children in Need.

Ken decides to trade in Hilary, his wife of twenty five years, after the onset of middle age finds him in the arms of Laura - a young, slim, attractive and vibrant free spirit. The only problem is…she can’t cook!. Missing the food and comfort of his old life, Ken accepts his ex-wife’s invitation to dinner, unaware of the delicacies she plans to serve… Debbie Isitt’s original take on the love triangle scenario devilishly blends black humour with seasoning and a little dash of sauce.
